What the hell is that about?
About a year ago, a few of us got to talking about what we all do with the photographs we take of the lovely models that are gracious enough to get in front of our lenses. Some of the photographers submit their photos for publication, and some are good enough, and lucky enough to have them published. Most of the photographers however, take the photos for their personal websites, and for the sheer artistic pleasure of being creative. Even the pros amongst us, had thousand of photos that were taken for purely personal portfolios. All had one thing in common, they wanted to share their creativity. The idea for this magazine came out of those conversations, to provide an outlet for the members of Glamourmodels to share their creativity, and their hard work with the rest of the world (Glamourmodels.com gets over 10,000 unique hits per day).That being said, submission for this magazine is open to all current Glamourmodels members and only to current Glamourmodels members. This of course also includes Models, Make-up artists, and Agents. Membership does have its privileges.
All of the work chosen for the magazine will display a credit, as well as a link to the members GM portfolio and personal websites. With the amount of traffic anticipated, this not only provides exposure to your photos in the magazine, but your other work as well.

For the first couple of issues, the choice of work included will be by the editorial staff. We will transfer that decision (for at least some of the features) to GM members in the near future.
In addition, we are starting a forum exclusively for the magazine. We would love to have feedback, and discussion on all aspects from content to layout to our very sick sense of humor (or lack thereof). The forum contributions will be limited to GM members. The forum will go live a few weeks after the magazine so be patient:)
A little bit about the magazine itself: We anticipate having a new issue monthly. This of course will be dependant on the submissions we receive. Each issue will have feature pictorials which will be focused on a collaboration between model and photographer (and MUA?), or focus on a particular members work (once again, a photographer, a model, a mua, or even an agent's clients). In addition we will have theme pictorials (listed on the submissions page) for single photo submissions. Of course we may chose multiple single photos from a single contributer to these themes. We are also looking for articles to share your knowledge, experience, and ideas with the rest of us.We hope you enjoy this new feature for GM members and have as much fun with it, as we do in putting it together. - M&J
